About us

ORLEN Petrobaltic is part of the Upstream segment of the ORLEN Group, responsible for exploration and production activities in the Baltic Sea. It is the only Polish company that comprehensively carries out the entire process – from the exploration and appraisal of deposits to the production of crude oil and natural gas.

Oil and gas

ORLEN Petrobaltic Group’s production assets consist of five platforms: two drilling platforms and three production platforms (including the unmanned PG-1 facility), multi-purpose tugboats, guard and salvage vessels, a tanker, and an onshore base with a transshipment quay.

Offshore services

ORLEN Petrobaltic is consistently expanding its competencies in the offshore sector, combining many years of production experience with new development directions, while also developing comprehensive offshore services.

B8 license - No. 1/2006

As of 1 July 2025, ORLEN Petrobaltic S.A. (as the acquiring company) was merged with its subsidiaries: B8 Sp. z o.o. and B8 Sp. z o.o. BALTIC S.K.A.

As a result of this merger, all assets, liabilities, and rights and obligations previously vested in and delegated to B8 companies were taken over by ORLEN Petrobaltic S.A.
